Info Post
This morning we did a TTV in Haroldston Woods and surrounding area, which was notable for the extraordinary number of singing Robins, often only a few metres apart. There were also plenty of tits and Chaffinches. But only one Wren - and Haroldston usually has loads of Wrens - I have counted one singing every 50 metres in the past - so this may be a real effect of the cold winter weather. Our garden Wren also seems to have disappeared. Though I note that Paddy's disappearing LTTs have re-appeared - good news! And on the subject of re-appearing, after a winter without any Greenfinches at all in the garden, one appeared today.

That's what so nice about birdwatching - you just never can tell!
