Castlemartin Corse;-
Not to be disappointed, I arrived at 8:30 & after 10 mins. of looking through ducks, males only counted, c40 Shoveler, 6 Pintail, 10's Teal, nos. of Gadwall, Wigeon & Mallard, a flock of c50 Teal dropped in, a quick scan to the west & the (large female) Marsh Harrier was quartering the reeds.
Bosheston;-
10 Goosander from 8 arch bridge.
St. David's Airfield;-
The Bewicks Swan still present on the pool.
Peregrine & Kestrel passed by.
A ring-tail Hen Harrier hunted low, putting up c30 Starlings as it dived down, but not re-appearing itself, so presumably caught one!
(Wendy & Rich. D.)
Whilst walking to the pool, in the distance, to the north, 4 smallish grey geese dropped down, presumably into a field, they were not Canada's! ..... To be looked for.
