Info Post
I awoke early this morning 06.00 to the noisy twittering of about forty swallows whizzing around our house like some airobatic maelstrom. Very nice, but they could have turned up a bit later and I might have enjoyed them the better with a bit more sleep!
On the outer breakwater at Fishguard whilst dolphin watching, a seven whistler identified itself by its more mundane title of Whimbrel as it piped its call overhead.
A few minutes later the alarm call of an Oystercatcher betrayed the presence of a Peregrine winging its way over the bay.
