Info Post
Point-blank view of a Firecrest just down the track from the car park this morning, in the willow scrub just other side of the first pool on left. Lots of activity in the scrub inc. mixed flock of blue tit, great tit and goldcrest (a second Firecrest sighting a few yards further on I'm assuming may have been same bird) also goldfinch, reed buntings and stonechat. Quiet up on the top apart from a few redpoll, pipits, a red kite and female kestrel. Called in at Ty Rhyg - Willow tits calling in a couple of spots and flock of dozen goldfinch on willowherb, again plenty of goldcrests. Did a full circuit of Dale peninsula yesterday - disappointingly quiet just a Willow warbler on coast path near Kete.
