Laps & Greylags

2 Lapland Buntings still on Dale Airfield today, west of the pond (Paul G).

Following on from Bob & Annie's post, I contacted a friend in Carmarthenshire about Greylag Geese.  There are normally 100-200 present in the Tywi Valley during the winter, with another 100+ at Penclacwydd WWT, and sometimes similar numbers on the Taf above Laugharne.  So in theory our 174+ could be incomers from Carmarthenshire, winter WeBS count may provide more information.
