Info Post

I awoke on Thursday morning to see thousands of winter thrushes, Chaffinches and Starlings passing through the ruddy dawn light, a thrilling spectacle! They were still passing by in big waves  as I let the dogs out and managed this snapshot. Visible migration of relatively common birds, but surely one of the highlights of the birders year...
Meanwhile this afternoon, Snow Bunting numbers on the Fishguard Harbour outer breakwater had grown to a little flock of five. They were relatively jittery so only one blurry shot of all five together.
