Birds around the feeders have increased today to: Brambling 4 (1 male, starting to show hints of breeding plumage), greenfinch 6, chaffinch 34+ (almost 50% are female), house sparrow 14, Starlings 9, Magpies 2, Collared dove 3 (were 4 earlier but one taken by a sparrowhawk), Blue tit 5, coal tit 2, blackbird 9 ( 3 females) feeding around each other without no apparent problems, Robin 3, dunnock 5, and a single wren. Red kite 2 seen flying over earlier.
