A walk round the Deer Park this morning produced a nice Dartford Warbler - the first I have seen at this site. It appeared in a bush near the Cliff top and then flew of into the centre where there is plenty of Gorse. Also 8 Chough and on the beaches at the end of the park a total of 25 Grey Seal pups of a wide variety of age and colouring.Marloes Mere was pretty quiet with 26 Wigeon, 5 Shoveller, 11 Teal and 80 Lapwing.
Following up a tip (thanks Dave) I went on to St. Brides and the male Black Redstart was performing brilliantly on the porch of the Church - a real stunner. More pics here
