Also yesterday on the south side of the Preseli ridge, near Bwlch-Gwynt, over 100 wood pigeons flying towards Rosebush.

Yesterday, (Monday) a jay was calling loudly down the valley, & the reason soon became apparent as a tawny owl hooted, obviously disturbed from it's roost. We used to have regular tawny owls here but in recent years it has become more & more unusual to hear them.
