Info Post
Ok I admit it aint going to win a place in the Countryfile Calender but I persuaded my Sea Trust volunteer helper, Verena, to take a snap of this critter yesterday on our way to Strumble. It was perched on telegraph lines near Castell Farm. Sadly it flew off as Verena moved in for the money shot! I bet its a year tick missing off plenty of Pembrokershire Birders lists!
Lots of Porp's but saw nothing of birdy note at Strumble apart from a Common Buzzard which dipped down low over the sea about half a mile out and headed east! A couple of reasonably knowledgable ladies from Kings Lynn had seen a Bonxie earlier in the day as well as four Sand' Terns and a Whimbrel with an injured leg!
