The continuing stormy weather has clearly driven some migratory species closer to the coast. This morning a black tern was feeding over the western arm of Bosherston Lakes and lower down the lake system over central Lake a juv arctic tern was feeding over the lake. Occasionally their paths crossed but the arctic (excellent close views) was rarely away from Central Lake.
Other Commic terns offshore at Broadhaven (party of 5)and good numbers of wheatears along the coast (juvs); at least 20 between Broadhaven and Stackpole Hd.
One good tern deserves another?
