In addition to Adrian and Richard's post from Strumble I had a Red Throated Diver, a Black Throated Diver and 2 drake Scoter. The Balearic continued to show off and on but always distant - feeding in the mouth of the bay with gulls.
Try as I might I could not find the Turtle Dove today but I have been told that it was seen at around 1330 in the trees opposite the calf pen from the farm yard next door.
A walk around the fields around the head produced 2 Woodcock in Porthsychan valley and circa 15 Snipe, 1 Peregrine sat on a kill and a Red Kite circling over Tresinwen early afternoon.
