Info Post

Very quiet at the Gann this morning with just a few Teal and 6 Goldeneye on the ponds. We could see 20+ Snipe - no doubt many more hidden from view. 2 Greenshank were nice and there was 1 Little Egret on the river bank.
At Marloes Mere we spent a few hours in the hide and again it was pretty quiet there. Perhaps 50 Wigeon and as many Teal together with a few Shoveller and a couple of Gadwall. A group of 200 or so Lapwing did pass over from the fields to the west and a few settled at the east end of the Mere. Raptorwise there was 1 Buzzard, a brief view of a Sparrowhawk and the ringtail Hen Harrier pictured which put in a couple of appearences, though frustratingly kept well away from the hide.
