A decent selection late afternoon in blustery & squally conditions: an adult Great Northern Diver close in, a Knot, a Greenshank, 4 Ringed Plover, 6 Little Egret, 5 Goldeneye, 20+ Teal, 5 Goldeneye, c.15 Redshank, 23 Brent (all pale-bellied), 1 Great-crested Grebe and good views of an adult Med Gull on the pools. At dusk the roost, which was scattered across the bay and generally distant, held at least 8 Med Gulls (7 ads & 1 2ndW).
