Info Post

Friday 13th turned out pretty lucky for me as I took the opportunity for a quick look round Bosherston before the next deluge hits. A walk from the 8 Arch Bridge up to the Grassy Bridge produced a pair of Goosander but little else of note. Back at the 8 Arch Bridge the Mother and 2 Cubs appeared and swam around between the bridge and the reedbed for 10 mins or so. The mother then swam over to the side beneath the path and gave excellent prolonged views, down to 10 feet or so. Well worth a visit as these normally shy animals continue to be very confiding. Click here for gallery of all photos over the last 2 weeks.
Just a reminder that Autumnwatch features Pembrokeshire tonight (tomorrow night on BBC Wales) with, hopefully, the Angle Area featured and a piece on the Fin Whales seen back in August. See also the Whales in Wales blog for recent Bottlenose Dolphin sightings.
