From Barry Potter - Two hours on the river at low tide today gave 35 species including,179 SHELDUCK, 19 BLACK TAILED GODWIT, c.40 TEAL, small flock of KNOT, a few MALLARD, 2 RAVEN, 3 BUZZARD, 1LITTLE GREBE, 1 male SPARROWHAWK, a few CURLEW,
handfull of WIGEON and in adjoining fieldside hedgerow, 4 YELLOWHAMMER, a new bird for this patch for me
