Info Post
Fishguard Harbour:
Ad Med. Gull at The Flagpoles.
(Adrian,16:30)

Teifi;-
19:00;-
3 Whimbrel, independantly over the course of 10 mins heading out to sea.

Teifi,c10:00;-
Jewsons, 3 Common Sandpipers.
Webley, 86 Curlew, c10 elsewhere.
St. Dog's Q, 60 Mute Swans, creche of 9 juv. Shelduck still, & 1 Barnacle Goose, a typical date for the first to appear. Presumably from the Cardigan Island population, or the Ty Gwyn pools in Cerdigion?

Newport;-
c11:30 1 Red Breasted Merganser, a likely juv. roosting on the sand, presumably resting from a pretty rough sea for mid-july with a large number of large gulls resting too.

Above the wood upstream of the iron bridge, 3 Peregrines putting on a fine display in the wind, I assume the ad. fem & 2 juvs by the size. Not going to hunt much with the continuous screeching but certainly practising every manoeuvre.
