And another Spotted Crake

After watching the Ceredigion Spotted Crake from Creek Hide, a wander across the border to Pembs (Kingfisher Hide) proved worthwhile. The Water rails were obviously disturbed by something as they were all calling and mobile. A Spotted Crake call was heard and it flew out of the reeds and was then chased by Jays. It then flew back in front of the hide and dropped into reeds at the back of the lagoon.
Despite watching until dark it didnt reappear. It might have been the same bird as the one by the creek was being chased away by the Water Rails there.
