A little jaunt around the Dale peninsula late afternoon by myself & Dobbins, Richard (as my daughter announced whilst reading out a text from him as I drove this morning!) produced the following:
Dale Fort: 6+ Chiffchaffs, 1 Goldcrest & 1 Willow Warbler in "Magic Garden".
St. Ann's Head: a 1st-winter Yellow Wagtail (a dark bird, well marked, Blue-headed?), 20+ White Wagtails, and a confusing Phyllosc, very white underneath, distinctive disybyllic call with downward inflection on second syllable...?? Couldn't get a good view of it.
Airfield: Dunlin but no Pec Sand, though we did walk past the Dunlin once so could still be lurking! A few White Wags too.
Gann: 15 Dunlin, 12 Ringed Plover, 1 1st wint Med Gull, 1 1st wint Common Gull (my 1st of the autumn here) and the pale-bellied Brent.
Let's see what tomorrow brings!
