Info Post

On a trip around the Cleddau River system this morning good views of an Osprey halfway between Landshipping Ferry and Slebech. This is a really quiet stretch of the river with access difficult unless on a boat. Best chances of seeing this bird, which seems to have been around for a while now, is probably from Landshipping Ferry or Minwear Lookout - just depends where it's fishing. Very difficult to see when perched in the thick oak woods along that stretch.

Also seen near Slebech a Common Sandpiper and a young Peregrine, while at Sprinkle Pill there were c.30 Black Tailed Godwits. At Little Milford 18 Greenshanks (8 pictured), 25 Redshanks, another 5 Black Tailed Godwits and c.100 Canada Geese. Quite a few Teal all around the area.
