Info Post
Despite the sunshine two & a half hours in the hide at Marloes today was pretty damn cold..........but worth the wait. The untagged Hen Harrier appeared first, flying in from the west only to drop quickly into cover. 45 mins or so later the tagged Harrier arrived putting up the first bird and the two hunted over the Mere briefly, sometimes close together, occasionally resting on the ground or a fence post. The tagged bird obliged with one brief pass fairly close to the hide. Otherwise pretty quiet, apart from the racket from the Canada Geese, and the pleasant trilling of Little Grebes in front of the hide.
