At Kilpaison this morning c.9:30 as the tide dropped 2 Curlew Sandpipers (thanks Wendy & Paul) in amongst the highest number of small waders I have seen there this Autumn. I didn't count in detail but estimates - 100+ Dunlin, 50+ Ringed Plover, 1 Knot, 12 Barwits, 2 Whimbrel, plenty of Curlew and Oystercatchers.
At Freshwater West c.30 Ringed Plover and 15 Sanderling. More photos at end of Gallery here
On Castlemartin Corse a female Marsh Harrier quartering the reeds seen from the top road.
