Info Post
Teifi;-
1 Greenshank over the marsh early this morning,
7 Sandwich Terns off Patch, & 8 White Wagtails on Patch at HT.
(Wendy J)
This evening a few Ringed Plover were all the waders found.

Warblers weights;-
We don't see too many "very fat warblers" in Pembs, this morning, some heavier than usual for us.
This morning in the mallard net run, we trapped our heaviest Reed Warbler of the autumn so far at 15.9g most still at c11g.
A couple of Sedge Warblers with visible fat at 16.1 & 16.9g.......most of the other c20 sedgies, this morning under 11g.
The 16.9g sedge weighed 12.1g on 23 August, nice for us to retrap a fattening bird, these birds are usually on passage & quickly move through Pembs.

Paddy on Monday at Ty-rhyg, trapped a very fat 18+g Sedge Warbler!
Presumably this bird happened to drop in overnight?.....into a Preseli plantation
Also in Ty-rhyg on Monday 49 new Chiffchaffs & c20+ new Redpolls
(Redpoll total now over 100 for year here)
Monday on the Teifi (CES site), also c30 Chiffs & c30 Blackcaps too.
(Teifi RG & Paddy J)
