A weeks a long time in birding....

Last week waiting at St Justinians to go over to Ramsey, half a dozen Swallows were hawking overhead though it didn't seem worth the mention, at the time. Today a similar sized group catching insects above the Moggie thousands at Jack Pontiago's garage had me skidding to a halt to check I hadn't mistaken them, when seen peripherally whilst driving to Strumble. I hadnt, surely Swallows first or last always lift the spirits! Tawney Owls hooting away in the valley this evening
