Info Post
A second rare heron in the County today! A Cattle Egret close to the control tower at Withybush Airfield at around 1pm today, viewable from rear of Propeller's Cafe. Only present for 15 minutes or so, it flew north at first, and then east towards Poyston Cross, behing mobbed by a gull. A quick search of the surrounding fields revealed anything, but it could easily still be in the area. A fair fews gulls on the runways (mostly Black-headeds) and thousands of Starlings in the fields around Poyston Farm - anyone fancy a Rose-coloured?!

Cattle Egret found by Terry Gover & colleague.
