Info Post
19:15 Teifi;-
Whilst ringing a few Blackcaps & Chiffchaffs on The Teifi Marshes, Jon phoned in a panicking voice that he had just watched 1 Glossy Ibis fly past & drop into a channel in front of The Webley! (Teifi RG agreed they could do without me), & I left for the Webley.
19:40 I was watching the single Glossy Ibis in front of me but hidden from Jon on Patch.
Time now for Jon to leave Patch & join me to view.
Before Jon arrived the Ibis had a good fly upstream & was lost against the Ceredigion trees,.... after a couple of minutes the Ibis returned to feed on the salt marsh.
Jon arrived ..... some more good looks at the unringed Ibis feeding, then a 20:01 it flew off low into the gloom presumably to roost... no idea where, but presumably in riverside trees?
1 Pintail also present feeding with the Wigeon .. & the Ibis.
c12 Dunlin, c12 Ringed Plover on Patch.

c19:30 Whilst walking between the 2 ringing sites Wendy had the Spotted Crake calling. Heard from the main footpath, between Creek & Kingfisher hides.

(Teifi RG)
