On June 6th 2009 I saw a colour-ringed Sanderling on the Teifi (where else!)
Just had the recovery details;-
Ringed, Iwek village, Banc d'Arguin on 2/12/2007.
(present until 12/12/2007)
Returned to the above site in Mauritania 29/11/2008 & seen again there 21 - 24/4/2009.
Next seen Teifi Estuary 6th June this summer with 11 other Sanderling.
As part of wader ringing in West Wales, a juv. Sanderling was ringed on the Teifi 30/8/2009.
