Gower Gyr

Following on from Richard's posting , a short while ago there was a thread on the Pembs. Blog about birding & how people started & why they enjoyed it . All present at the time when we saw the Gower Gyr today were completely ( and justifiably ) overawed by such a charismatic bird , whether it was a lifer as it was for some , as it was for even one of the long standing respected South West Wales birders present or re -born birders like original Pembs Birder John from Lincs. I think this is why we do it.
