Purple Heron - Llan-mill

Arrived Llan-mill circa. 11.00 hrs; no sign of Purple Heron. Walked past the mill as far as the road then left under the railway. Purple Heron flushed from small rushy field on left and flew back towards the mill-pond. Thereafter, seen several times in flight in the vicinity of the two ponds; unfortunately it was flushed by a photographer near the larger pond and not found again. Last seen 12 noon.
