Black Guilemots --- successful breeding

Successful breeding again in Fishguard;-
The 1 juv. fledged c22 August (still present 20th) this year, c6 days earlier than last year.
All the breeding activites were earlier this year than last, presumably due to the pair (?) being more experienced? Wendy & I did watch a pair copulating on a ledge with a 3rd adult present v. close(11/6), so hopes for another pair next year??

As last year, many thanks, to Stena, the operators of the harbour, particularly Captain Ian Davies - Port Manager, Fishguard, for kind permission to view, & access to the Outer Breakwater for WeBs counts.
