Stackpole and Castlemartin Coast

A single green woodpecker (male) still around on Stackpole Warren (feeding on ants before flying across Bosh Lake to Mere Pool Valley area). Still no sign of a female though.

A common swift was feeding along with sand martins (3) and house martins (several) over Stackpole warren late morning.

A single whimbrel noted flying west along Castlemartin Coast at about 1900 hrs this evening. Two peregrines, 3 kestrels, 2 sparrowhawks and a single merlin were also hunting in various locations between Mt Sion and Linney Hd.
