Info Post
I spent the day around the Angle area with an old birding friend from my days in Cardiff trying to find places out of the wind and dodging the showers. We did pretty well, starting off with a Swallow over Bosherston Ponds and 4 Black Redstarts still in residence at Stackpole Centre.
At The Lodge, Angle Bay, a Great Northern Diver gave great flight views and we also saw 5 Med Gulls (1 1st w., 1 2nd w. and 3 Ad), 1 Greenshank, 2 Barwits, c.200 Golden Plover and c.300 Lapwing.
We ended the day at Kilpaison with the tide coming in rapidly where there were 16 pale bellied Brents, 390 Wigeon, 32 Barwits, 25+ Ringed Plover, 50+ Dunlin, 1 ad Med Gull and a Peregrine. Rich C and Ian Smith.
