Info Post
3 more recoveries arrived this am:-...all Teifi ringed birds
Sedge Warbler, ringed 6 Sept 09;
controlled 14 Sept 09 Icklesham, Sussex, (good example of SE movement to Sussex before the short channel hop -- typical for sedges)
Sedge Warbler, ringed 13 Aug 09;
controlled 22 Aug 09 Oxwich, Glamorgan
Reed Warbler, 23 May 09;
controlled 25 July, breeding we think? Kenfig, Glamorgan,(seems unusual to arrive in Pembs before going east to breed?)

The new CES season will be getting underway at the end of April.
With catching 4 foreign ringed birds, the number of recoveries still rising, & all the CES data captured, last year was an incredible start to this re-born CES site.
If any-one experienced or not, wish to join us, to learn to ring..or to help, we would be delighted to hear from you, & welome you.
Please contact, either Wendy James, Arfon Williams or Richard Dobbins directly or via contacts on PembsBirds
