The Islands - Wheatears

First wheatears of the year on Skomer yesterday (6/3 - news from Chris) and Ramsey today (7/3). A few stonechats have finally arrived back on Ramsey after an absence since the cold spell. 5 lapwings back on territory in the last couple of days - later than recent years and not displaying much yet. 3 pairs of ravens incubating plus a 4th at unknown stage. Chough all paired up and they should start nest building within the week.
