Info Post

This was a bit of a surprise this morning! It came up out of the grass near North Valley Crossing, landed in the willows for a couple of minutes before flying off into the bracken - I saw it in flight 3 more times before we lost it near North Pond at about 10 O'Clock.

News from Chris Taylor is that there's very unlikely to be day boats tomorrow - its really windy out here and there's a massive swell in North Haven making landings very tricky but they won't know for sure until 8ish tomorrow morning. To be honest until the wind drops I don't think there's much chance of seeing the Bobolink again anyway - there's an awful lot of bracken out there!

A few other new birds around today as well - 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, a few Chiffchaffs, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Whinchats and quite a few Blue & Great Tits again
