A walk across Dale Airfield produced very little (not even a Wheatear). The Gann held an impressive 55 pale-bellied Brent Geese - 39 on the foreshore and a group of 16 on the pools which then flew to join their friends. One of the closest birds was ringed: red ring left leg with white letter V, white ring right leg with a black C. Will send off the details and let you know the history when I get it. Still at the Gann a pair of Wigeon, 14 Teal, 2 Goldeneye and 4 Little Grebes looking very smart and summery.
