Two Marsh Tits have made a welcome appearance in the garden at Orielton over the past two days, returning for the first time this year, and for only the second time since the cold spell in January 2011.
Otherwise, with the exception of Chiffchaffs and the gradual return of the breeding seabirds, spring migrants have few and far between down in these parts.
