The Great Grey shrike was using the tall tree remains on the slope behind Pantmaenog House this evening, just about 5 months since first seen. Lots of Meadow pipits dropping into a small conifer around dusk counted 70 but probably twice as many. Red kite by the car park.
Had a look in at Ty Rhyg the shrike was down in the scrub by Paddy's poles and looked settled in for the night.
