From Steve Hearn - We live in Devon but returned from a short break in Pembrokeshire yesterday.We are keen walkers/ birders and visited a few locations whilst on holiday including early morning visits to Bosherston Lakes and Broad Haven Beach and a sunny afternoon walk from St Davids to St Non's (via Porth Clais). No real notable sightings but the following may be of interest:-Wheatear (1) male - headland near Porth Clais (21st March)Chiffchaff (good numbers seen and singing) inc c.6+ Bosherston (19th, 20th and 21st March)Goosander (2) male and redhead - fresh water lagoon at start of Broad Haven beach (20th March 6.30pm) Reed Bunting (2 male) Broad Haven (dunes) on 19th March and Freshwater West (20th March) Water Rail (1) heard only - reedbed at Bosherston 20th March (7pm) Otter (3) mother and 2 cubs (Bosherston) 22nd March (6.30am)
