Glossies & that Brent

Very quiet on Dale Airfield this evening. Initially very quiet at Marloes Mere too, but then burst into life on our way back to the car with a Swallow east, 3 White Wagtails that dropped onto the path, 2 Black-tailed Godwits still and nice views of the 3 Glossy Ibis in the evening sunlight. Also 3 Chiffchaff.

Had a reply from Graham in Ireland regarding Brent CVWR, she was ringed in Iceland on 19/5/2009, spent Feb-Mar 2010 and Jan-Feb 2011 at Torpoint/St. John's Lake in Cornwall (River Tamar) - Graham believes she has been seen there this winter too. In April 2010 & 2011 she appeared in Ireland, and in May of both years at Blautos in Iceland (http://www.satelliteviews.net/cgi-bin/w.cgi/?c=ic&UF=-2642312&UN=-3649879&DG=LGN). Lovely stuff.
