Dale area

At least 21 Mediterranean Gulls at Dale late afternoon, a nice low tide so plenty of space for gulls - 17 adults, a 2ndW and 3 1stWs. At least 6 of the adults were ringed - 3 with green, 1 white, and 2 just metal. Didn't manage to read any of them! With a bit more patience, and a coat, it would have been possible.

At Sandy Haven, 6 Little Egrets (3 on the river, 3 in the field with cattle) and 2 Greenshank. Keep your eyes peeled at white things in fields, it's surely only a matter of time.....then I said that back at the beginning of January so what do I know.
