Iceland Gulls at Llys-y-fran Resr.

Tonight at Llys-y-fran 6 Iceland gulls were at the roost.

2 1st yr (dark birds) had been present either on the water or in the field since c1500.
Then as birds came in to roost there were also 2nd year birds at both ends of the flock.
2 1st year (light birds) were also on the water.

The Blk. Thd. Diver & Blk.nd. Grebe were both showing well from the waterside.
There was also a pair of Gt.Ctd.Grebes nest-building on the end of the point.
