Just after high tide all of the birds that are usually scattered around the estuary were squashed together on a sandbank opp, St Dogs slipway including 6 Knot, 1 Barwit,c 40Dunlin, 16Shelduck, Teal,Wigeon,Canada Geese and a few hundred Lapwing trying to find space to land. A Shag was preening on the sand by the Webley.
Later down to Ty rhyg forest near Rosebush to look for the Great Grey Shrike that had been spotted this morning, but no luck. Crossbills still in Glynaeron and Redpolls had been seen there earlier as well.
