Records for yesterday, Thurs. 21/03/2008;-
At the resr. this pm, the ad. Ring-billed Gull, 3 Iceland gulls ( 1*2w, 2*1w) & a 2w Yellow-legged Gull. Also the Blk.Thd. Diver & Blk. Nkd. Grebe still. 3 Goosanders (1m), 6 Wigeon, 3 Shoveler & 2 Red Kites overhead!

What other passage birds will pass through this resevoir?.. this Spring?
Last year on the 11th March we saw our 1st Sand Martins here!
For birds seeing/crossing the Presellis the resr. must be an attraction for some species.
Who expected it to draw a Great Grey Shrike!

Common Sand at Jewsons, also the Sanderling is still present amongst the Dunlin at the Patch, & 5 Knot in the estuary.
A walk onWednesday upstream at low tide, from the railings across the saltmarsh to a point opp. St. Dogmaels disappointingly only produced a small flock(6) of Rock Pipits.
