Visitor Paul Bright-Thomas has kindly passed on his sightings from yesterday (9th), which included 2 Merlin along the coast between Croesgoch & Strumble, and a Pintail in with a Mallard flock heading N/E over Llanrhian.

This morning at Hook/Sprinkle Pill minimum counts of waders included: 83 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Bar-wit, 12 Greenshank, 128 Redshank, 93 Curlew, 4 Snipe, 56 Lapwing, 15 Golden Plover, 8 Dunlin & 5 Little Egrets. The mouth of Sprinkle Pill was the best spot on the rising tide.
