Pen Caer & Fishguard 31st Oct.

Failed to find any Black Redstarts today at the usual sites around the Pen Caer peninsula or at Fishguard port , it seems all over the northern end is generally quiet. All was not lost though with a few Common Gulls , 10+ starting to return to the Flagpoles ( Ads & 1st W ) & 3 Med. Gulls 2 Ads & a 2nd W. One of the Adults has a green ring with white figures ( possibly the same bird Sam Baxter has had at Newport ) & has now managed to twice evade my efforts to read the ring. It's starting to get personal !!!!
Is there any truth in the rumour that Mr. Crossen is having Black Redstart pie for tea tonight , he's got the right amount for the recipe!
