Food for thought

This morning a small invasion of Blackbirds and Song Thrushes in the garden as well as Redwings and Fieldfares in the hedgebanks. Sadly not quite such a good crop of haw berries this year, further depleted by flail mowers "tidying" the lanes around here... If we get a cold snap the winter thrushes will have to move on or starve this winter.
