Spirits were lifted early on this morning with a steady movement over the house which included Starlings , Chaff & Gold Finches , 2 Mistle Thrushes , 3 Redwing & 4 Golden Plover. However a trip to Strumble produced only 1 Wheatear , a flock of Starlings & a few Skylarks going over. More of note was a small party of mostly Long Tailed Tits right on the cliff by a small puddle which appears in damp weather.
Moving on to Tregwynt & Abermawr drew a complete blank , but a look at a recently discovered ( almost ornamental ) pond near Welsh Hook found 2 Dabchick.
