A Wheatear at the Gann this late in the autumn had my pulse racing for a few seconds: I believe it is the same bird I've seen there since 18th October - quite a pale/buffy juvenile with broad white tips to the tail. Also there 10+ Rock Pipits (keep checking for Buff-bellied, or Water!), 1 pale-bellied Brent, a red-head Reb-breasted Merganser, pair of Goldeneye (first seen yesterday), 9 Redshanks & 19 Ringed Plover.
In Dale 3 Black Redstarts and 2 Chiffchaff, but no Black Reds seen on a brief search at Kete & St. Ann's (but 2 Lapwing sheltering behind a hedge in a ploughed field at Snailston).
2 Coal Tits out at the Fort at Point House were new in.
A late Wheatear...
