Info Post
0730 to 1500hrs. NW full gale on arrival, backing occasionally WNW 6/7 gusting 8; sea state 5/6. As on Monday there was a strong movement of Auks and Kittiwakes for the first two hours reducing to a steady trickle for the rest of the watch. Around 50% of the Kittiwakes were juveniles. A scattering of Gannets passed during the day, with around 40% juveniles. Adrian joined me from about 0900 to 1215hrs.

Little Auk 2, I had the first, again very close with other auks; Adrian had the second, again quite close, but that one eluded me.

There were many more Blackbirds and Starlings than usual around the lanes and fields near the Lighthouse this morning.
